Frequently Asked Questions:
Absolutely! We have a well established process to validate new assays. If the assay meets our quality standards (signal strength, reporter stability, efficiency, etc.), we can be ready to commence routine testing within few weeks depending on the chemistry of the assay.
Yes! We can also test soil and sediment samples, ground water, drinking water, waste water, air filters, fecal samples, and shellfish and fish tissue.
We are not able to accept sample shipments on Saturdays or Sundays. Please be aware of shipping times when sending samples. If sending samples on dry ice via overnight shipment please send samples Monday through Wednesday to avoid that samples get stuck over the weekend if delivery exceptions occur.
Per standard we provide one lab report per assay in PDF format and a summary Excel file (EDD). Upon request we can also provide results in CEDEN and other formats. Additional fees may apply.
For batches of up to 10 samples you can expect results within one week of sample receipt if measured via qPCR. For other situations and analyses (new assays, ddPCR, NGS) the turn around time will increase. Rush service is possible for an additional fee. Please contact us to discuss.
